Troy Polamalu, S, Pittsburgh Steelers

There’s very, very few people who will deny that longtime Steelers safety Troy Polamalu is bound for Canton after his career is over.

That enshrinement may come sooner than some may think.

Polamalu, now 33 years old and entering his 12th season in the NFL, has begun to slow down and let his age show.  Injuries limited him to just seven games in 2012 and Polamalu has only had a total of five interceptions in the last three years, a total following a 2010 campaign where he totaled seven interceptions (the second time he did that in his career.)

Polamalu enjoyed a career revival of sort last year, playing and starting in all 16 games with a pair of interceptions and a career-high five forced fumbles.

Whether or not Polamalu ends his career as a Steeler or if he plays one year with another team is yet to be seen, however, it would be awesome to see Polamalu, and all of his hair, end his career on a strong note.
