LaMarr Woodley, LB, Oakland Raiders

In his seven years with the Steelers, LaMarr Woodley was one of staples of the Pittsburgh Steelers defense, alongside James Harrison and Troy Polamalu.

However, as injuries began to creep up on the soon-to-be 30-year-old outside linebacker, his productivity began to drop off.  After missing just one game in a three-year span between 2008 and 2010, Woodley has yet to play an entire 16 game schedule and, in turn, has not recorded 10 or more sacks in the last three years.

While he looks to rejuvenate his career in Oakland, one can only wonder whether or not Woodley can return to the star form he used to play as and if he can become the same kind of staple linebacker for the Raiders as he was with the Steelers.

If it counts for anything, it’s been a while since the Raiders had a big-time linebacker.
