No. 4 – Greg Hardy – DE – Carolina Panthers

Greg Hardy made a habit of harassing opposing QBs last season. His fifteen sacks was good for third in the NFL, but perhaps more impressive was his 83 combined QB pressures. That total was good for third highest on this list and was a full 20 more total QB pressures than NFL sack leader Robert Mathis had.

His 25 QB hits were good for second in the NFL behind only J.J. Watt. Clearly, Greg Hardy is an incredibly gifted pass rusher. I chose to not let the assault conviction against Hardy factor into his ranking on this list at all. Assaulting a women makes you a bad dude, but it doesn’t change your ability to pressure QBs. Like Hardy or not, he belongs in the discussion of most talented pass rushers in the league.
