Kirk Cousins, QB, Washington Redskins

Cousins has shown flashes of brilliance in preseason action this year and last year, which can only make someone wonder what he would be like if he was “the guy” for a  team.

Now, he could become “the guy” for the Rams and, in return, could get new Redskins head coach Jay Gruden out of a quarterback controversy.

The question surrounding Cousins is if he can every really put it all together in the regular season.

In spot starts for the Redskins, Cousins is just 1-3 as a starter, throwing just eight touchdowns with 10 interceptions.  He lost all three of his starts last year, despite throwing for 854 yards with just four touchdowns and seven interceptions.

It’s also possible that a running a more pro-style system would benefit Cousins, which makes him more tempting for the Rams.

But is Washington willing to let him go for the right price?
