Jacksonville Jaguars

Is there ever a time when the Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t in trouble?

In all seriousness, I love the additions of RB Toby Gerhart and rookie WR Marqise Lee, but that’s not enough offense for the Jags to keep up with a high-powered Philadelphia Eagles offense in Week 1, especially in Philly.

On the defensive side of things, the Jags’ 29th-ranked rushing defense from last season won’t be able to handle LeSean McCoy, and the addition of Darren Sproles just puts Philadelphia over the edge.

Jacksonville still has some decisions to make at the quarterback position. Rookie Blake Bortles will likely end up being the starter before the season ends, but for now, the Jags have named veteran Chad Henne the starter out of camp.

All in all, it’s a no-brainer that the Jaguars won’t be Week 1 winners and are on their way to a fourth-consecutive losing season.
