Robert Quinn, St. Louis Rams — Sacks

Quinn is the most-feared defensive end in the NFL. If he’s not, teams aren’t doing their homework on the Rams fourth-year defender who had 19 sacks last year, finishing .5 off the lead set by Robert Mathis.

The former first round pick out of North Carolina just turned 24-years-old in May and has raised his sack output from five as a rookie to 10.5 in his second year to last year’s 19, so we should expect 40 sacks this year, right?

No, he won’t be doing that, but Quinn has a shot for a 20-sack season for the next few seasons, provided he stays healthy, with his lightning-quick first step and explosiveness.

Good luck trying to slow him down. Quinn will have a chance to break Michael Strahan’s single-season record of 22.5 sacks this year.
