Los Angeles Clippers rumors: DeAndre Jordan is key to success

The Los Angeles Clippers bottomed out in the postseason last year when they lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder but they’re looking to come back even bigger and stronger this year than they were last season.

One player to watch is DeAndre Jordan, who has taken steps towards becoming one of the best big men in the game and could be in for a huge 2014-15 campaign.
According to Basketball Insider’s John Zitzler, DeAndre Jordan’s ability to develop a great relationship on the court with
"Since the arrival of head coach Doc Rivers, Jordan has become a force defensively. This past year, he led league the league in rebounds per game (13.6) and was third in blocks per game (2.5). There is no reason why Jordan can’t duplicate, and potentially build on, his fine play of 2013-14. He will play a key role as the Clippers make another push towards a title."
The Clippers are going to be much better this year than they were in 2013-14 but it doesn’t take a basketball genius to realize hat. What will be harder to achieve will be the level of individual play that needs to happen and that’s where DeAndre Jordan will likely come in handy as he’s on the rise and could be in for a breakout year this season at center for Los Angeles.
