8. Jim Kelly (Bills 1986-1996)

Jim Kelly is considered as one of the game’s best quarterbacks and with good reason; who else can lead a team to four consecutive Super Bowls?

He threw for 35,467 yards in an 11-year NFL career with 237 touchdowns in the regular season, and another 3,863 yards and 21 touchdowns in 17 career playoff games.

Kelly’s work in the no-huddle offense is engrained into the minds of football fans and aspiring quarterbacks everywhere.  He is ahead of Baugh on this list because he was an overall better quarterback than Baugh, who took on the position with the creation of the forward pass.

Kelly ended up mastering the forward pass and his enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002 is proof.
