6. Terry Bradshaw (Steelers 1970-1983)

There was a moment in time when Terry Bradshaw nearly got traded to the Raiders.  In his first five years, he struggled as the Steelers quarterback, throwing more interceptions (81) than touchdowns (48) in that time frame.

But when Bradshaw took the field in 1975 and beyond, he won.  His four Super Bowl rings are proof of that.

In 14 years, Bradshaw threw for 27,989 yards with 212 touchdowns and threw for another 3,833 yards with 30 touchdowns in the postseason.

Some may argue that Bradshaw was only successful because of his defense, however it was Bradshaw who led the Steelers to the playoffs in 1978 and ’79 (throwing for over 300 yards in those Super Bowls), when he won league MVP honors and had the best throw in playoff history in Super Bowl X.

He is one of just two quarterbacks (the other is on this list) with four Super Bowl rings.
