1. Leadership

Perhaps the most important thing that Bosh will bring to the table for the Heat is a leadership presence. He may not have been known as the leader of the team due to James being in town, but he will likely be the number one guy with Wade’s knee issues that have been getting worse over the past two years. This will be a major challenge and role increase for Bosh, but he will embrace it and come through for his team.

Coming off of four straight NBA Finals appearances, he is one of the automatic choices for leadership in Miami. He has the game to be a leader on the court, but also has the mentality and vocal skills to be an emotional leader for them. There is a good mix of veterans and youth on the roster, and Bosh is going to be one of the key pieces that holds them all together.

Bosh was a very good leader in Toronto, and helped them reach above the expectations that many had for them. He was lethal scoring the ball, but he also made his teammates better around him. There are plenty of ways for him to improve his game to take the next step as a player, but he has all the leadership skills to take over that role for the Heat this coming season.
