No. 10-6

10. Jay Cutler – Chicago Bears

If Jay Cutler can stay healthy for 16 games he may just finish with numbers that will put him in the top five in the NFL. Unfortunately, Cutler’s track record for staying healthy isn’t great. His spot in these rankings going forward is probably more health reliant than any other QB.

9. Matt Ryan – Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons had a down season last year but that really wasn’t the fault of Matt Ryan. There wasn’t much he could do given Atlanta’s problems on defense and the offensive line plus injuries to both Julio Jones and Roddy White. With a little more stability around him, Ryan should produce like an elite QB again this year.

8. Russell Wilson – Seattle Seahawks

Wilson may not have been prolific last season but there is no denying how efficient he was. The Seahawks seem poised to put more emphasis on Wilson and the passing game in 2014. If his production in the preseason is any indication, Wilson could be on the verge of becoming one of the very best in the NFL.

7. Andrew Luck – Indianapolis Colts

Very few QBs in the history of the NFL have carried an entire team with their passing attack in their first two seasons in the league, but that’s exactly what Andrew Luck has done. He capped off his sophomore season by engineering an epic comeback win against the Chiefs for his first ever playoff win. It’s just a matter of time before Luck climbs into the top five of these rankings.

6. Ben Roethlisberger – Pittsburgh Steelers

Big Ben did something last season that several other QBs on this list couldn’t do, he carried a struggling team on his back and still held things together. While Pittsburgh didn’t make the playoffs, Ben did still have a good season and was really all that the Steelers had going for them. That production under bad circumstances was more than RG3, Eli Manning, and Joe Flacco could produce in similar situations.
