NFL Power Rankings: Manziel, Clowney and 20 impact rookies for 2014
20. Seantrel Henderson, Buffalo Bills
The No. 237 pick overall in the 2014 NFL Draft was less than 20 picks away from being undrafted but after a strong offseason and preseason the former Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman has earned a starting job as the Bills right tackle.
Henderson’s talent has never been in question as the former No. 1 overall recruit in the nation coming out of high school, but his mental makeup and dedication to football certainly was after a number of off-the-field incidents during his college career raised red flags about a pro career.
After a disappointing pro day workout where some reports said he quit during the workout, Henderson has put in the work and the 6-7, 330-pound right tackle is starting over the team’s second round pick Cyrus Kouandjio and easily could be the biggest steal in the draft.
