Alterraun Verner

Tennessee Titans to Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Alterraun Verner is going to make the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a very happy camper this year.

After playing with the Tennessee Titans for four years, Verner got five interceptions during his last season as a Titan. His play announced to the NFL world that he too was a part of the NFL’s elite at cornerback. Because of the play of his breakout year in 2013 for the Titans, Verner became a Pro Bowler.

Now as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Verner should have an excellent season. The Buccaneers defense is going to have one of the most fearsome front seven in the NFL.

With all the pressure that opposing quarterbacks will have to face, Verner will have multiple opportunities to jump routes, gamble and play more dangerously at his position, attempting chances to create turnovers. Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith will put Verner in a place where he will succeed and be bountiful for the Buccaneers.
