DeSean Jackson

Philadelphia Eagles to Washington Redskins

One of the best wide receivers in the NFL is DeSean Jackson. There is no arguing about his statistics, because they speak for themselves. During his last year playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, Jackson had 1,332 receiving yards, nine touchdowns and had an average of 83.3 yards a game.

Many people want to claim that his stats were because of the offense that Eagles head coach Chip Kelly runs, but the reason that offense could work is because of a threat like Jackson.

Now that Jackson plays with Robert Griffin III, they each have their own redemption story. Jackson was cast out from Philadelphia because of his off the field antics. While Griffin has been constantly criticized because of his on the field play. Meshing a top flight receiver in the NFL, with a talented quarterback like Griffin will have an impact for the Washington franchise.

Griffin is an accurate quarterback who enjoys throwing in the pocket. With Jackson running the fly pattern, it should make it easy for Washington to score a bunch of points in Fed Ex Field.
