Jacksonville Jaguars at Washington Redskins

This is one of those games where you probably have to be a hardcore fan of the teams playing in order to watch it. I don’t expect there to be much offense. I was tempted to pick the Jags here, but I just don’t think they have the offensive talent to go on the road and score enough points to win. While I don’t believe that the Jay Gruden/RG3 pairing is going to work out long term, I do think that Washington has enough playmakers around him to outpace the Jags in Washington.

Dallas Cowboys at Tennessee Titans

Before the season started I had the Titans as one of the teams that I thought might surprise this season. That’s mainly because I’m intrigued by the pairing of Ken Whisenhunt and a healthy Jake Locker. Unfortunately for my beloved Chiefs, they validated those beliefs in week one. This week the Cowboys come to town off of a self inflicted defeat against the 49ers where Tony Romo was quite literally giving the ball away at times. The Titans appear to be a well rounded team and I think they keep their strong start going and force Romo into a few more costly turnovers.
