New York Jets at Green Bay Packers (*Survivor Pool Lock of the Week*)

I think both of these teams are going to find things are much different in their second game of the season than they were in week one. The Jets may have stopped the Raiders offense at home last week, but going on the road and facing Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay’s offensive weapons is going to be very different. While the Packers may have been controlled by Seattle’s defense in the opener, a susceptible Jets secondary should make things easier for them this week. Ultimately, I just don’t see Geno Smith and the Jets offense being able to go on the road and outscore the Packers. That’s why I’m making this game my Survivor Pool Lock of the Week.

Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos

This game could have easily been my Survivor Pool Lock of the Week as well. However, I like to save the best teams for as late in the season as I can in survivor pools. That having been said, I’m just not sure how KC can pull this one off (and that’s coming from a KC fan). I think KC’s only hope is that Tamba Hali and Justin Houston are able to get to Peyton Manning (even though they didn’t have much luck last year) and are somehow able to rattle him. If not, I’d look for Peyton to pick the Chiefs secondary apart and put plenty of points on the board.
