1. Sammy Watkins, Buffalo Bills

The first name that comes to mind coming into Week 2 is Buffalo Bills’ wide receiver Sammy Watkins. Buffalo’s offense looked much better than expected against the Chicago Bears last week, and they are going up against a fairly weak Miami Dolphins’ secondary. E.J. Manuel looks like a completely new quarterback, and Watkins is going to step up in a big way for his team this week.

Watkins ended up catching just three passes for 31 yards in his debut last week, and will be using that poor performance as motivation to put up a big game this week. There is no question that the Bills would like to get him more involved in the game, and that will be exactly what happens this week. He may not end up having a monster game, but he will do plenty to get his name noticed across the league.

It’s going to be intriguing to see what type of offensive plan the Bills have coming into the second week of the season. They ran the football well in Week 1 against the Bears, compiling 193 yards on the ground. Buffalo’s passing game didn’t look very dynamic, but that could change just a little bit with Watkins stepping up against the Dolphins.
