Adrian Peterson’s attorney says latest claims ‘not true’

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was in the headlines again on Monday, when reports of an alleged second investigation into child abuse surfaced. The reports included a different four-year-old son from the one who Peterson admitted to beating at the end of last week.

The new reports claim that the incident involved a gash on the boy’s head that ultimately left a scar.
Peterson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, commented on the latest allegations with a statement.
Of course, he is claiming the new reports are “not true.”
"“The allegation of another investigation into Adrian Peterson is simply not true. The allegation is more than one year old and authorities took no action. An adult witness admittedly insists Adrian did nothing inappropriate with his son.”"
TMZ reported that the charges were not filed because Peterson never hit his son.
