Kaepernick feeds Bears, blames Chicago for crashing his housewarming party

Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick stormed back to his locker crying after Chicago’s 28-20 win at the first game at Levi’s Stadium Sunday night.  Kaepernick said that the Bears “aren’t who we thought they were” and that they should’ve given them the hook.

“It was my party and they ruined it,” an emotional Kaepernick said after the game.  “Chicago sucks, the Bears suck and they just ruined our party.  What are we supposed to tell Snoop Dogg now?”

When reporters asked “where’s Colin” after his press conference, it was also reported that Kaepernick flew back to Miami for a quick break, wearing a Dolphins hat because he’s really interested in taking his talents to South Beach, but will be there until Wednesday to “let off some steam.”

What was supposed to be a national-televised housewarming party for the Niners who officially opened up new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara against the Bears, turned out to be a coming-out party for Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who went 23-for-34 for 176 yards with four touchdowns in Chicago’s 28-20 come-from-behind win.  The win marks the Bears first win at San Francisco since 1985.

Cutler sparked the Bears rally with a minute left in the first half after taking a blow to the chest by Quinton Dial, who was penalized for roughing the quarterback, leading with the crown of his helmet.

Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick (21-34, 248 yds, 1 TD, 3 INT) helped spark the Niners to a 17-0 lead in the second, however the Bears rallied, outscoring the Niners 28-3 from the second quarter to the end of the game.

Bears rookie corner Kyle Fuller picked off Kaepernick late in the fourth twice to seal the win.  Kaep seemed to look a bit off in the fourth quarter while the Bears rallied back, however not all of the blame should be placed on the Niners quarterback.

San Francisco racked 16 penalties for 118 yards on the night, a rarity of sort for Harbaugh’s Niners.
