When the Red Bull Battle Grounds Grand Finals roll into the nation’s capital later this week, eSports fans already know they’re going to be in for two days of intense StarCraft II competition among some of the top players in the world.

What they might not know is that it’s not just a tournament coming to Washington D.C., but a four-day program of events designed to promote and celebrate eSports. For fans headed to see the Grand Finals, here are a few more times and places to keep in mind with associated events going down:
Thursday, September 18
The Business of eSports Panel
Georgetown University – 6:30 pm
This panel brings together five notable eSports personalities — Sean ‘Day[9]’ Plott, caster and developer; Ben Goldhaber, Director of Content Marketing for Twitch; Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau, veteran eSports journalist; Craig Levine, Vice President of ESL America; and Chris Radtke, Director of Content Strategy for Ziff Davs — for a discussion of the growing opportunities in the industry. Friday, September 19
Welcome and Press Conference with Select Players
Korean Cultural Center – 10 am
With multiple Korean players in the Grand Finals, this press conference will introduce them and highlight their roles as both cultural and gaming ambassadors.
Red Bull Battle Grounds Meet & Greet
Marvin 20007 – 14th Street NW, 2nd Floor – 7 pm – 9 pm
This is your chance to meet and mingle with both the players and the commentators from the Red Bull Battle Grounds before they get down to business on Saturday.
Sunday, September 21
Red Bull Battle Grounds After Party
HEIST – 1802 Jefferson Pl, NW – 9 pm
The battles are over, and a new champion has been crowned. Now it’s time to celebrate! Open to all fans 21-and-over with no cover charge.
