3. Antonio Gates
Did everyone else miss the memo for Turn Back the Clock Day in San Diego on Sunday?

Gates finished the game with seven catches for 93 yards and three touchdowns against the defending champions. He was the single biggest reason the Chargers were able to hang on and win the game with his spectacular plays like these:
Gates also racked up 81 receiving yards in Week 1 against Arizona and is ranked fourth in total receiving yards through the first two games. His three touchdowns on Sunday are the second-most in the league for tight ends behind Julius Thomas and his four TDs.
It’s just fantastic to see a player like Gates in his twelfth season in the league continue to make magnificent plays in crucial situations. We’re going to miss him when he’s gone.
