3. T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts

T.Y. Hilton hasn’t exactly been a “disappointment” but he certainly hasn’t lived up to the expectations that fans and analysts had for him coming into the season. He had to step up as the number one option for Andrew Luck and the Colts last season, and became one of the best playmaking wide receivers in the game. The Colts haven’t been as aggressive offensively this season, and Hilton hasn’t been much of a playmaker.

He has caught just 11 passes for 106 yards, and hasn’t scored a touchdown through his first two games. Those numbers are nothing to be worried about for Colts fans, and he will turn thing around with a big game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Don’t be surprised to see Colts’ offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton dial up some bombs for Hilton ad the offense next week.

Hilton has the talent to be one of the best wide receivers in the entire NFL, and he will finally show it this week. Having Reggie Wayne and Hakeem Nicks playing alongside him has messed with his style of play, but after two games things begin falling into place. Luck will be a more aggressive quarterback after losing two straight games for the first time in his career, and Hilton will be one of the main players that benefit from that aggressiveness.
