Dwayne Bowe, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Dwayne Bowe disappointed the Kansas City Chiefs and the NFL as a whole when he violated the league’ substance abuse policy last fall after being arrested for possession of marijuana, according to Adam Teicher of ESPN.

That resulted in Bowe being suspended for KC’s Week 1 matchup with the Tennessee Titans. The Chiefs certainly could have used the former Pro Bowl wideout, as they were downed 26-10 by Kansas City.

One week later, Kansas City was on the road against the Denver Broncos, and Bowe submitted a less than desirable performance.  The 29-year-old wide receiver posted a mere three receptions and 40 yards. He was largely held in check against the Broncos’ D.

Bowe did have an important catch in the fourth quarter, but that doesn’t change his disappointing performance so far in 2014.
