Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay Packers

The 2013 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year seems to be suffering from a sophomore slump.

Either that, or he’s not being utilized enough. Lacy got 12 carries and turned in just 34 yards in Week 1, and Week 2 saw him receive only 13 carries, to which he took them for 43 yards. On top of it all, Lacy has yet to find the end zone, and while he’s only carried the rock 25 times in two games, he’s posting a mere 3.1 YPC mark.

Green Bay Packers’ head coach Mike McCarthy admitted that Lacy hasn’t received enough carries, but that still doesn’t change that the 24-year-old is barely mustering three yards per carry.

Look, I know that Lacy is one of the best in the business–and he’s only in his second year–but if I had told you that Lacy would only have 77 yards on 25 touches and zero scores on the ground, you would have laughed in my face and called for me to hand in my letter of resignation.
