9. Aaron Gordon- SF/PF, Orlando Magic

Listen, I’m not the biggest Aaron Gordon fan on the planet. I don’t know if he’s quick enough to guard on the perimeter, and I don’t know if he’s big and physical enough to play on the interior. I see the Shawn Marion comparisons, and I somewhat agree, size-wise and energy-wise.

But the Matrix is a bad dude; he doesn’t take anything from anybody, not even King James in the NBA Finals.

I don’t know if Gordon has that killer instinct. Obviously, he has time to develop and get better, but I guarantee Gordon isn’t going to do this to anyone in his career:

That doesn’t mean Gordon isn’t going to be good next season, though. He’s a freak athlete, and the Magic have the players to run, run, and run some more if they want. At forward, Gordon will likely do the same thing he did at Arizona, which was play tough, aggressive defense, get out in transition, set some screens, and dunk, dunk, and dunk some more… And, do you know what he did when he was done dunking? He dunked EVEN MORE.

That’s what you can expect to see from Gordon and the Magic, but they’ll only win 25 games doing it.
