Wide Receiver

Percy Harvin-Seattle Seahawks: As the Seahawks take on the Broncos in a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl, they’ll need all their offensive weapons to keep up with Peyton and the Ponies.  Last week, Harvin only had one catch but still made a fantasy impact with a rushing TD (which counted just as much as if he hadn’t stepped out of bounds).  This week back at home, I think the Seahawks will be creative and get him the ball with the opportunity to make plays. He’s a nice start this week if you can get him at a non-elite price.

Keenan Allen-San Diego Chargers: Allen has gotten off to a very slow start since he’s played the Cardinals and Seahawks in two horrible matchups to start the season, but things start to even out this week against the Bills who have allowed receiving TD’s by receivers in each of their first two games this season along with the 11th most fantasy points.  Look for Buffalo to take away Antonio Gates and for Philip River to switch to Allen as his primary target.

Kelvin Benjamin-Carolina Panthers: I was down on Benjamin earlier this week, but he looks like he’ll be just about the only option the Panthers will have in the passing game.  Both Jason Avant and Jerricho Cotchery are gametime decisions, and if one or both can’t play expect Cam Newton to throw even more passes Benjamin’s way. He could be in for a breakout performance in from of a national audience on Sunday Night Football.

Steve Smith Sr.-Baltimore Ravens: Smith has become one of the most targeted receivers in the league as he and Joe Flacco have instantly hit on a connection out of the slot.  The Browns may cover him with Joe Haden, but don’t expect Flacco to shy away from using him early and often much like the Saints used Jimmy Graham repeatedly last week.

Brian Quick: Quick is still widely available despite a pair of strong weeks to star the season in the Rams struggling offense.  He has a pair of seven-catch games while going for 99 and 74 yards.  He hasn’t made it to the end zone yet but is definitely the primary target for both Shaun Hill and Austin Davis.  The Cowboys secondary was extremely beatable last year and hasn’t been tested much this year, so I expect Quick to have another productive day.

Andrew Hawkins-Cleveland Browns: Hawkins is a target monster in the current version of the Browns offense. He has double-digit targets in both the Browns first two games and will continue to get plenty of work against Baltimore.  The Ravens are a tough D, but since he’ll be so heavily used I think Hawkins is one of the better bargain basement options this week.

Last week: Michael Floyd, Cordarrelle Patterson, Kelvin Benjamin, Kendall Wright, Rod Streater, Marqise Lee
