In the last two years, the Milwaukee Bucks have added two extremely talented players. They took Greek swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo in 2013 and then had the worst record in the NBA at 15-67 last year. That allowed them to take former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker with the second-overall pick in this year’s draft.

More from Milwaukee Bucks

Jabari Davis of Basketball Insiders is very excited about the future in Milwaukee with Parker and Antetokounmpo.

"Hey Jim, absolutely great to have you in today’s mix. You know, that’s a team I’m going to be keeping an eye on this season in particular. I can’t wait to see what Parker’s game translates to at this level and whether he’ll put the work into his body that he’s going to need. I’m also a big Freak fan, as I’ve been enamored by his potential since the moment I first say that initial YouTube clip of him. Milwaukee has a lot of interesting little subplots this year. What does Jason Kidd do for an encore? Is he the right coach to teach and mold this young roster? Time will certainly tell."

For the first time in a while, the Bucks have a couple of potential stars and really have something to look forward to in the future. Things are certainly looking up in Milwaukee.

Antetokounmpo averaged 6.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 41.4% from the field, 34.7% from beyond the arc and 68.3% from the free throw line last season. Parker averaged 19.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 47.3% from the field, 35.8% from beyond the arc and 74.8% from the free throw line for the Blue Devils last season.
