Jacksonville’s status as an NFL team in question after illegally bad performance against Indy

The NFL is expected to investigate the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Indianapolis Colts on accusations of abuse.  The Colts are being accused of abusing the hell out of the Jags on Sunday while the Jaguars are being accused of abusing their fans mentally by trying to convince them that they are a legitimate NFL team.

While the Colts are expected to get off kind of easy, the state of the Jags will be in question as Commissioner Roger Goodell might pull a soccer move and relegate the Jaguars to the new FXFL league where they can learn to be a real team and because only 10-to-25 people will be in the stands throughout the rest of the season.

Stay tuned for further updates regarding the state of the Jaguars.

It’s not hard to say, the Jaguars (much like the Raiders last week) “suck.”

Jacksonville allowed the Colts to gain 529 yards for the game, 330 in the first half.  The Jags defense let Colts quarterback Andrew Luck to torch them completely, as he went  31-for-39 for 370 yards with four touchdowns.  He sat out the final eight minutes of the game, letting Matt Hasselbeck have fun in the end.  Hasselbeck also threw a touchdown in garbage time, a 1-yard touchdown toss to Hakeem Nicks.

However, the switch to Bortles is just some new scotch tape to fix the Jags overall problems.

Going into Sunday’s loss, the Jags were ranked in the bottom three for:

–          First downs on offense

–          First downs allowed on defense

–          Net yards per passing attempt

–          Total yards on rushing plays

–          Yards per attempt on rushing plays

–          Touchdowns on rushing plays

–          Touchdowns allowed on rushing plays

–          Percentage of offensive drives ending in a score

But they have that new super-wide jumbotron and the cabanas in the stadium.

Yeah!  Luxury!
