San Diego Chargers D/ST (3.5%)

The Chargers D has stepped up and been impressive the last two weeks as the team got a huge win at home against Seattle and avoided a letdown on the road in Buffalo.  In their three games this season, the San Diego defense has allowed no more than 21 points and forced three turnovers. Last week they added a safety against the Bills in Buffalo as well.

San Diego returns home this week to sunny Southern California as they host the hapless Jaguars who have been the best team in the NFL to start a D/ST against.  The Colts put up a huge week against Jacksonville last week with three turnovers and a defensive TD.

San Diego’s defense isn’t among the league’s elite in most matchups, but they have a nice string in their next four games against the Jags, Jets, Raiders, and Chiefs before they have to travel to Denver.  They’re the top pickup for the near future even though their yards allowed per play is fairly high.
