Rob Bironas’ wife reported him missing just before fatal crash

According to a report from the Metropolitan Police Department in Nashville, Tenn., former Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas was reported missing less than an hour before he was killed in a car crash Saturday night.

The police report was filed at 10:30 p.m. Central time on Saturday, while the crash happened around 11:03 p.m.

The details of Bironas’ crash continue to get stranger. Earlier Monday, it was reported that a woman claims Bironas tried to run her off the road.

Now comes the police report from his wife, Rachel, who is the daughter of Hall of Fame quarterback and current FOX NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw.

In the report, Rachel Bradshaw (the name listed on the police report, which can be found here) claims she and her husband, along with a family friend, were watching a movie when Bironas said “Good night” and left the room.

She assumed he went to bed, but was unable to locate him in the house. Several calls to his cell phone went unanswered, Rachel Bradshaw told police.

According to the police report, Rachel Bradshaw claims there was no argument prior to Bironas leaving the house and said it was “highly unusual” for him to leave without telling her.

The couple had been married since June.

Bironas kicked for the Tennessee Titans for nine seasons before he was cut last March and he had not been signed by any team since then.
