Queue up the spooky music. The New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders faced off this past weekend. It was a lackluster game that the Patriots won, 16-9, but a further examination of the box score shows that there may have been some funny business going on.

A user on Reddit, who may or may not be a masochist, decided to look over the Raiders-Patriots box score and noticed something very bizarre.

Every point in the game was scored by someone whose last name ended in “Kowski.”

Rob Gronkowski, Stephen Gostkowski and Sebastian Janikowski were the lone scorers in the game.

This weekend the Patriots play the Kansas City Chiefs and the Raiders play the Miami Dolphins. Neither the Chiefs nor the Dolphins have a “Kowski” on their team, so the streak of “Kowski” dominated scoring will be coming to an end — unless the Patriots or Raiders can pull off a shutout.
