The Cleveland Cavaliers have the NBA’s newest Big 3, with LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving in the fold.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

Naturally, as James did with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade four years ago, the three Cavs stars took photographs together to celebrate their new trio at media day.

However, with Irving being much shorter than James and Love, the point guard had to stand on a box during the pictures, according to Dace McMenamin of ESPN.

This is pretty excellent and one can only imagine the short jokes Irving is going to hear from his teammates after this one. That’s great in and of itself, considering Irving is still 6’3″ and viewed as tall anywhere off an NBA basketball court.

Here’s another look of the trio without Irving on a box.

LeBron signed with Cleveland this summer after spending the past four years with the Miami Heat. The Cavs traded with the Minnesota Timberwolves for Love this offseason. Irving has been with Cleveland his entire career since being drafted with the No. 1 pick during the 2011 NBA Draft.
