Oakland Raiders

What do you get when you stack a team with aging vets, a rookie quarterback, and inexplicably thin depth?

The Raiders, who are still searching for their first win.

While I was one of the biggest Derek Carr advocates (and still am), the talent — or lack thereof — around him is deplorably bad. That issue falls at the feet of general manager Reggie McKenzie, whose hot seat is bordering on scalding.

Playing in the ultra-competitive AFC West, the Raiders are in an extremely tough position. McKenzie got them into this mess, but might not (and probably shouldn’t) be around to help them clean it up.

Oakland is entering a massive rebuilding phase, and the No. 1 draft pick usually comes with the territory.
