Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A real man admits when he’s wrong. Being the upstanding man I am, I’d like to take this opportunity to make a confession: I was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Earlier this offseason, I wrote up (what I thought was) a convincing piece, which basically declared that the new, improved Bucs would win the NFC South division. And they’ve let me down big time.

Lovie Smith’s 0-3 squad can’t score, can’t stop a nosebleed on defense, and, frankly, can’t get out of their own way. Last week’s massacre against the Falcons was an absolute folly of Butt Fumble-like proportions, and a foreshadow for the rest of the season.

Thanks for nothing, Tampa Bay.
