Baylor Bears. 6. team. 57. <p>Bryce Petty and Baylor ran out to a 35-7 halftime lead over the Iowa State Cyclones as they played their first Big 12 game of the season and improved to 4-0 on the year in the 49-28 win after trading touchdowns in the second half.</p> <p>Petty led the Bears to 601 yards of offense as they have had more than 500 yards of offense in each game this season, and the offense added two of its top playmakers as they welcomed back Antwan Goodley and Corey Coleman to the lineup.</p> <p>The duo combined for 18 receptions for 268 yards and a touchdown as the offense looked as explosive as ever with true freshman phenom KD Cannon adding nine receptions. Petty finished with only one touchdown on the night and tossed an interception as he finished with 336 yards on 30-of-44 passing.</p> <p>Shock Linwood had 82 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries as Baylor started 4-0 for the second year in a row. This achievement is significant because is is the first time in 76 years they started out with wins in their first four contests.</p>. (4-0)
