LOSER: Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles

We knew Eagles quarterback Nick Foles wasn’t going to go another whole season without a turnover, but this is kind of ridiculous.

Foles has four interceptions in four games and while he has, until this weekend, put up good numbers otherwise, he has looked horrible doing it.

I hadn’t bought into the Nick Foles Phenomenon yet, but I was open to the idea that he was as good as he looked much of last year. Four games in, Foles isn’t nearly the same quarterback he was in 2013.

In the first two games, Foles looked terrible for a half and then decent for another half. He looked better against Washington and avoided any turnovers, though the secondary he faced is not good.

The San Francisco 49ers can be tough to beat at home, but the defense has struggled at times. Foles couldn’t move the ball through the air effectively and the interceptions were ugly.

There’s a long season ahead of us and it’s too early to write anyone off, but so far this season, Foles has not been good.
