Los Angeles Lakers

There are only two words I need to hear, to watch the Lakers this year.

Kobe Bryant.

I am more than ready to watch Bryant play in the twilight of his career. The argument is there for Bryant as one of the best players to ever play basketball. This year though his team is terrible. However, do the Lakers still have Bryant’s skill? His skills have masked a lot of the Lakers flaws for a long time and I want to see if he can once again can make the Lakers competitive. With Bryant taking most of the shots next season it will be exciting seeing him chuck up the most difficult shots, getting to the free throw line a bunch of times, and seeing him dunk every once in a while (that part is tough to say.) Watching the fire we have all grown accustomed to seeing out of the mamba, is always fun to watch.

The second reason I have to watch the Lakers is because of Julius “Pitbull” Randle. His game is going to translate well in the NBA, especially because he has a pretty good handle for a power forward. Randal is very athletic and strong and knows how to get inside of the paint at will. Watching his growth from the beginning of the year to the end of his rookie season, playing for the Lakers is going to create a lot of excitement.

Don’t sleep on Jordan Clarkson, and Jeremy Lin either. Their guard play is a crucial part to next year’s success in Los Angeles.
