8) AFC South

The bottom of the AFC South appears to be pretty ugly. The Jacksonville Jaguars were, again, blitzed by double-digits on Sunday, and while they looked respectable at times behind Blake Bortles, the Jags now have a -94 point differential that is easily the worst in the NFL. Jacksonville does have reason for optimism behind their young offense, but the defense is ghastly, and that isn’t changing.

In addition to Jacksonville, the division also boasts the second-worst point differential in the league in the form of the Tennessee Titans. The wheels have flown off for Tennessee after their season-opening victory, and with Charlie Whitehurst prominently involved in Week 4, things certainly did not go as planned. The Titans have enough talent where they should not be in the league’s basement, but right now, things are less than spectacular.

On the more positive side, both the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts appear to be solid, if not genuinely good. Houston leads the division at 3-1 after a good win over Buffalo, and the Colts rolled through the Titans while showcasing Andrew Luck and an offense that has the makings of a prolific unit. Each team has question marks, but the duo keeps the entire group from occupying the basement by a much wider margin.
