Houston Texans at Dallas Cowboys

J.J. Watt was a one man recking crew against the Bills last week. While I don’t know if there is a team alive that can completely take Watt out of a game, the Cowboys do appear to have one of the best offensive lines in football. If that line can at least keep Watt somewhat contained it will neutralize the Texans best player and should take the pressure off of Tony Romo. If DeMarco Murray can get going against Houston’s 24th rated run defense the Cowboys should be able to pull this one off.

Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions

As I just mentioned, the Bills were dominated by J.J. Watt last week and now they get the pleasure of taking on Ndamukong Suh and the now formidable Detroit defense. While I think the Bills have some good pieces in place, I don’t think that newly promoted Kyle Orton is enough of an upgrade over EJ Manuel to help the Bills outscore a more talented Detroit offense (especially now that Detroit’s defense is playing better). While Matt Stafford may not have a huge day, I think they’ll score enough points to pull this game off.
