27. Utah Jazz- 25.5 wins

2013-14 Record: 25-57

Vegas has one thing right; the Jazz won’t be good. Although, I have a feeling 25 wins will be too low for them.

Why you should take the Over:

The Jazz won 25 games last season, and there’s no doubt in my mind the Jazz improved this offseason. Utah signed Trevor Booker and drafted Rodney Hood. Both of those players will be huge contributors next season. I’m not big on Dante Exum, but if he can give Utah 20 quality minutes per game, that’ll be a huge improvement from last season.

I also really like the Trey Burke-Gordon Hayward-Derrick Favors-Alec Burks combo the Jazz have going on. This season, I expect this group, with the help of Hood and Booker, to be Utah’s primary go-to lineup.

Head coach Quinn Snyder will have his hands full in his first season with the Jazz. If Snyder can bring a little more out of Burke, Gordon, Favors, and Burks, Utah will have a good chance at hitting 30 wins next season.

Why you should take the Under:

The West is ridiculously tough. There are ten teams that should win more than 45 games this season just in the West. Utah also plays in a division that could potentially have three playoff teams, OKC, Portland, and Denver. Likely, all three won’t make the playoffs, but they’re all way better than the Jazz right now.

I will take the over on the Jazz because this team isn’t going to take a step back this season.
