NFL Week 5 Top Storylines: DeMarco Murray chasing history

Knile Davis, Kansas City Chiefs
When Jamaal Charles was out in Week 3, Knile Davis piled up the yards, then when the New England Patriots came to town, he did it again even with Charles in the game. However he got far less carries in which to do it and even in a blowout win, only got 16 carries.
That may be the way it goes from here on out (unless Charles hrts his ankle again) but we’re interested in seeing if the Chiefs can find a way to get him more involved.
While he might not have the pure talent that Charles has, Davis has a great skill-set and at his size (227 pounds) is a difficult guy to bring down. He’s a very nice compliment to Charles.
The problem could be head coach Andy Reid, who can lean towards under-utilizing his running backs. Right now the pass/run ratio isn’t far from even—the Chiefs have attempted 128 passes to 109 rushing attempts—but we remain skeptical given that last year’s statistics showed a huge lean towards the pass with 546 pass attempts compared to 348 run plays.
Davis is a very good back and in an offense which used their running backs well, would have a lot of success.
The question is, will he and Charles get used enough for him to have a real impact down the road?
