WINNER: Odell Beckham Jr, New York Giants

Finally healthy, rookie Odell Beckham Jr. made his 2014 regular season debut in Atlanta against the Falcons. After months of no practice and no games, expectations were not high.

He met them and then some.

His first game featured his first touchdown, some very nice catches and decent route running.

The Giants have a ton of weapons to use, but they need a vertical threat. Rueben Randle has been serviceable in this regard, but Beckham was drafted for his speed and ability to go deep. He didn’t break any long vertical routes, but that can be attributed to the fact that he hadn’t seen any game action in months.

This is only the start and so far it seems like he is a great fit for this offense.
