Attention: Detroit Pistons dancing usher is back
Detroit’s dancing usher has returned, and he’s better than ever
If you’ve ever seen me do a write-up about a dancing athlete, you know that I feel a personal connection to just about anyone in the sports world who dances at grossly inappropriate times. There’s decidedly a picture out there on the world-wide web of me doing something similar to this at a high school football game, although this guy definitely pulls it off better than I ever did.

The Detroit Pistons don’t even have to be a good basketball team. This guy practically sells tickets for them. I mean, the chance to see one of the seat ushers break it down like he’s at a Jewish wedding? Too good to pass up.
The dancing usher is nothing new to Detroit. He’s so popular, in fact, that he’s got his own page on the team website. The Times did a write-up on him. He even got the chance to be on Jimmy Fallon, reminding me that some people just walk in the light.
Just to clarify, guys, this is AN usher, not The Usher. Although this guy deserves plenty of credit for his dance skills, too. Maybe we should petition for an usher-Usher dance-off? I’d contribute to that Kickstarter fund.
