Justin Forsett-Baltimore Ravens (21.8%)

Forsett looks like the running back most fantasy-relevant out of the Ravens three-man backfield platoon. On Sunday, Forsett led the Ravens with 42 yards rushing and a touchdown in a fairly even split of the carries.  Where Forsett gets the edge over Bernard Pierce and Lorenzo Taliaferro is in the receiving game. He finished the game on Sunday with seven catches for 55 yards.

In PPR leagues, Forsett is a weekly flex play, while in standard leagues he’s more of a potential fill-in option.  Forsett is definitely the most comfortable in Gary Kubiak’s system and continues to see more snaps than any other running back.

This week, the Ravens will be in Tampa Bay to take on the Bucs, and if you can wait another week for further clarity on the timeshare that’s great.  If you can’t wait for him to emerge, go ahead and use him as a flex play if necessary, but there is more risk involved because there is still much to be sorted out in the Baltimore backfield.
