Chicago Bears at Atlanta Falcons

Even as I type this, I’m changing my mind again on who I think will win this game. In a week full of hard to pick games this was the hardest for me. The Bears are a team that are good enough to beat any team in the NFL but also capable of shooting themselves in the foot and losing to any team in the NFL as well. If you look at the Bears’ games their worst showing was against the Packers where Aaron Rodgers and GB’s WRs carved them up. The Falcons have been good at home where they beat the Saints and blew out the Buccaneers and they have an equally dangerous passing attack that could give the Bears problems. So I’m taking the Falcons, but would I be surprised if Jay Cutler threw for 350 yards and 4 TDs and the Bears won by double digits? No, no I wouldn’t.

Dallas Cowboys at Seattle Seahawks

The Cowboys have been surprisingly good through the first five weeks of the NFL season. For a split second I even considered picking them to pull off the upset here, but when I really considered the match ups I quickly changed my mind. The Cowboys have been good this year because they have run the football, but Seattle has the number one run defense in the NFL. That means Tony Romo is probably going to have to throw the ball to win and in that stadium against that secondary I don’t see that going well for Dallas. I think the Cowboys will keep it close, but I’m taking the Seahawks.
