Washington Redskins at Arizona Cardinals

I’m guilty of not buying into the Cardinals in the past. In fact, if I’m being honest, I’m still not convinced they are playoff caliber in the NFC. That having been said, they’ve been great in their first two home games where they beat the Chargers and the 49ers (two teams I do think are playoff caliber). Both of those teams are better than the Redskins, whose lone win comes against the hapless Jaguars. While the Redskins may put up some passing yards I think the Cardinals will be able to pull this one out.

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles

One final game where I think it could go either way. In the end I’m going with my gut on this one. The Giants have really won me over these past couple weeks and I’ve done a complete 180 on New York. In Philly, Chip Kelly’s offense has put up some yards and points, but Nick Foles has gotten away with some passes that could have easily gotten his team in trouble. This week they are facing a Giants secondary that leads the NFL in interceptions and with the Eagles defense looking suspect the Giants should be able to put up some points of their own. Bottom line, I think the turnover battle will determine this one. I’m banking on Foles making the mistake against the Giants secondary, but let’s be honest, it could also easily be Eli Manning that turns the ball over.
