Philadelphia Eagles fan steals a prosthetic leg at the game Sunday night

Philadelphia sports fans have earned an unfairly bad rap, as a collective group. My best friend is a Philadelphia Flyers fan, and she’s been my sober savior on many a drunken night. I’ve even lived with an Eagles fan for a summer, and came out of it as happy as I went into it. Plenty of Philadelphia fans are perfectly nice people, and they don’t deserve this kind of association.

When you’re a part of a fan base that’s been known for throwing batteries at Santa Claus and beating the living daylights out of any fans that dare cheer for the opposition, though, you’ve got to toe a fine line.

Stealing someone’s prosthetic leg? Yeah, you’re not toeing the line anymore.

This might not be the best description for a thief running around Lincoln Financial Field. A woman in an Eagles jersey? THAT REALLY NARROWS IT DOWN, THANK YOU.

Really, though, Philadelphia- thank you for continuing to feed into the stereotype. Keep doing you.
