New York Knicks’ guard Iman Shumpert could be a key player for the Knicks this season.

Under new president Phil Jackson and new head coach Derek Fisher, the Knicks are stressing defense. Iman Shumpert is a talented player who has been a good defender in the past and could get back there this season.

However, the Knicks would also like Iman Shumpert to take another step on the other hand. If he could turn into a successful three-and-D guy, he could have a very good career.

In Monday night’s 81-76 preseason loss to the Toronto Raptors, Iman Shumpert scored in a different way, throwing down a powerful dunk.
