The Armchair Quarterback’s Guide To The NFL: Week 7
Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars
Through the first six weeks of the season I’ve been waiting for the Browns to struggle and the Jaguars to improve. I’ve finally come to the realization that I had that reversed. The Browns may just be a Wild Card contender with Brian Hoyer at QB and their solid running game. That Jaguars are averaging 13.5 PPG and are allowing 30.8 PPG. A winless team with those numbers……let’s just say I won’t be picking them to win again any time soon.

Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts
On paper this looks like a great game and even a possible playoff preview. However, the Bengals haven’t seemed the same these past two weeks and if AJ Green is out again this week I’m just not sure they’ll be able to keep pace with Andrew Luck and the Colts. Indianapolis is trending in the other direction. After an 0-2 start the Colts now look like a possible Super Bowl contender in the AFC. Andrew Luck leads the NFL’s most prolific passing attack and highest scoring offense. With the game in Indy and with AJ Green unlikely to play the Colts are the pick in this one.
