The Armchair Quarterback’s Guide To The NFL: Week 7
Houston Texans at Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers, I just can’t seem to get myself off your bandwagon. One would think that with a good QB (Roethlisberger), RB (Bell), and WR (Brown) and a defense that is ranked in the top 15 against both the run and the pass that the Steelers would be a solid contender. However, in their last three games they got blown out by Cleveland, beat the winless Jaguars by 8 points, and lost to a bad Buccaneers team. So given that poor play you would think that a Texans team that just lost to two superior teams in Dallas and Indianapolis by just one score could knock the Steelers off. While I’ve gone away from some of my early season perceptions with other teams, I think I’m going to stick with the Steelers for just one more week. If they let me down again though, it may be time to write them off for the rest of the season.

So there you have it, the Armchair Quarterback picks for Week 7 of the NFL season. Which games do you think I’ve gotten it all wrong on? Any teams that I’m short changing? Any teams that you think I’m giving too much credit to? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here’s to hoping that my bad luck ended with last week’s games. I feel a rebound coming on (at least I hope so).
Until next week, enjoy the games and thanks for reading.
